The Alger Falls Cottage is located 2 miles east of Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

This comfortable fully furnished two bedroom cottage is nestled in the woods just east of the Alger Falls Motel and will sleep up to 6 guests. Each bedroom has a double bed and there is a sofa sleeper in the living area. Bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Linens, towels, and paper products are furnished for our guests.

The kitchen has full sized appliances, a toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and cooking utensils. There is a dining table and a snack bar with stools.

The Alger Falls Cottage has wireless internet access, extended cable TV, direct dial phone, and is air conditioned for your comfort.

There is a Recreation room with a stove, pool table, and coin laundry for guests and a large parking lot for trailers with easy entrance to and from the highway.

Snowmobile trails lead from the door and connect to the outstanding Alger County groomed trail system that offers hundreds of miles of riding. We have a heated garage for snowmobile repairs. Maps available at the motel office. Groomed cross country ski trails nearby.

The Alger Falls Cottage is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping, and all the attractions and recreational opportunities in the Munising area.   Enjoy seeing some of the area waterfalls, including Alger Falls, just east of the cottage on M-28. This waterfall can be viewed right from your car and is especially beautiful in the fall.   Stop at the Visitor Center at the blinking light to pick up directions to the various falls

Visit the beautiful Pictured Rocks and hike on some of the trails or take one of the boat cruises. Bike or hike on Grand Island, golf at the 18 hole Pictured Rocks Golf Course, or paddle down the AuTrain River. Fishermen will enjoy charter fishing on Lake Superior or dropping a line in one of the many lakes and streams of the Hiawatha National Forest just south of the cottage.
