AmericInn Lodge & Suites of Munising is only 3 miles east of Munising on Highway M-28, near Lake Superior, the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and the Grand Island Recreation Area in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Our 62 room AmericInn offers a variety of accommodations including oversize rooms featuring two queen-sized beds or one king bed; two-room family suites; 1 & 2 room fireplace suites, two with a whirlpool; and king whirlpool suites. All suites have a refrigerator and a microwave oven. We offer handicapped accessible rooms, and the AmericInn has an elevator for your convenience.

Our comfortable guest rooms are equipped with high-speed internet access, data port phones, hair dryers, iron & ironing board, cable TV, and a clock radio. Every room offers a coffee maker to provide you with refreshments 24 hours a day. The AmericInn is air-conditioned and has a laundry for guests. Some guest rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator.

Start your day with our deluxe continental breakfast featuring a variety of cereals, a selection of muffins, bagels, and pastries, juice, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, and our hot Belgian waffles. When you return from visiting the Munising area, relax in the conversation pit in front of the fireplace, or in your comfortable accommodations, cool off in the pool, or relax in the sauna or hot tub.

Splash Bay Adventure
	Our Splash Bay Adventure indoor pool and family recreation area offers a large pool with a 100' figure-8 waterslide and a children's pool with a small waterslide for all kinds of water fun. Hot tub and sauna for relaxing after a busy day enjoying all there is to see and do in the Munising area

The AmericInn Lodge and Suites is conveniently located close to the many attractions and recreational opportunities that the Munising area has to offer. We are just minutes from the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, the Grand Island Recreation Area, Lake Superior, and the Hiawatha National Forest for hiking, biking, canoeing, and fishing, both charter fishing in Lake Superior or fish the inland lakes and streams in the Hiawatha Forest. Go scuba diving in the Alger Underwater Preserve or view the Pictured Rocks from the Shipwreck Tour in the Glass Bottomed Boat or the Pictured Rocks Cruise. Golf at the Pictured Rocks Golf Course or visit the Casino in Christmas.

There are many area waterfalls and you can pick up your map at the Visitor Center at the blinking light in Munising. Some falls can be seen from your car, some are a short stroll, and others a more energetic hike. Restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing in Munising.

During the winter months, Alger County and the Munising area has lots of snow and you can snowmobile right from the door at the AmericInn. We have a large parking lot for your vehicles and trailers. Cross country groomed ski trails are nearby, go ice fishing, ice climbing (depending on the weather), dog sledding, or take those snow shoes for a trek down some of the unplowed forest roads.
