Rental lakeside cottage at Big Bay, MI in the Upper Peninsula, just 25 miles north of Marquette.

 

This three bedroom cabin on the north side of Lake Independence will sleep up to 10 people. Two of the bedrooms have two queen sized beds, one also has a crib and the other has an extra bunk. The third bedroom has one twin bed. One bath with a shower.

Kitchen is fully equipped, and the cozy cabin has a Color TV and VCR.

There is no phone so bring your cell phone or use the pay phones in Big Bay. Weber grill outside the cabin for your cookouts.

Clean sandy beach, you can wade out 200' into Lake Independence before reaching a drop-off. Great fishing so bring your boat and water toys and get ready for some fun. Boat ramp at Perkins Park with a small dock in front of the cabin.

Boat rental is available in town at the Big Bay IGA (906-345-9800).

The Big Bay Lakeside Cottage is open from mid-May through the end of October.
