Bell House, located on the hill in Hancock, offers two lodging options for travelers to the Houghton and Hancock area of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You can rent the main floor with two bedrooms or add the second floor with 3 additional bedrooms for your rental. Bell House offers cable TV, wireless internet access, central air conditioning, and a washer/dryer in the basement for your convenience.

The kitchen has full size appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, griddle, waffle maker, and a quesadilla maker for preparing your meals. There are two bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is a futon with an inner spring mattress in the living room for extra guests. The bathroom has a 3/4 claw foot tub with a shower.

If you have a larger group, the second floor can be included in your rental. There are three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom with a 3/4 claw foot tub with a shower. One bedroom has a double bed, the next bedroom has twin bunk beds, and the third bedroom has a twin bed and a trundle bed. Bedding, towels, and paper products are provided for our guests.

This lovely historic home was built in 1904 and has wood floors throughout the home. The home is comfortably furnished and is perfect for your business or pleasure trip.

The Bell House Vacation Home is a wonderful location for your visit to the Copper Country. It is only a short distance to Finlandia University, Michigan Tech, the Rozsa Center, the Seaman Mineral Museum, and the Quincy Mine. Winter lovers will find Mount Ripley, Mt. Bohemia, and the Masto Hiihto and Swedetown cross-country ski trails in the area for some wonderful winter fun.

There are so many interesting things to see and do in the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula. Great hiking and mountain biking trails, nature preserves, waterfalls, lighthouses, parks, and sandy beaches on the shores of Lake Superior. The Keweenaw National Historical Park has several interesting locations where you can learn about the life and history of the Copper Country.

Bell House is ideal for those who love silent sports or sightseeing as it does not have trail access and parking is limited so there isn’t room for trailers.
