Some but not all of our Area Attractions.

Enjoy visiting some of these attractions while you are staying at Birchwood Resort.

The Mackinac Bridge

The Mackinac Bridge connects the Lower Peninsula and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has a total length of approximately 5 miles including the approaches.

Watch freighters pass underneath or enjoy the awesome sight at night when it is glowing with hundreds of lights.

Mackinac Island:

It's all that you read about. Buy their tasty fudge and enjoy a great ice cream cone on a hot day. Rent a bike to explore, take a carriage ride, or do some serious shopping. The island has it all. A world-class attraction. 65 miles from Paradise.

Whitefish Point Lighthouse is still guiding ships around Whitefish Point and into Whitefish Bay and the Soo Locks. Site of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
