Lodging at Four Seasons Cabins, just south of the village of Au Train, MI on the corner of Forest Lake Road and Martin Road. Only 12 miles west of Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Four Seasons Cabins offers two fully furnished modern cabins and a "Bunkhouse" by the Hiawatha National Forest with a view of Au Train Lake. The cabins are perfect for your summer vacation, snowmobile groups, reunions, and other gatherings.
There is a full kitchen with a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, and basic spices. The open concept dining and living area has Cable TV, VCR, AM/FM radio, and a phone. Our Bunkhouse has 1 bedroom with a full bed and 5 single beds, a full kitchen, bath, and livingroom with a sofa sleeper. There is a deck with chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view over the lake. If you're an early riser don't miss the spectacular sunrises over the lake. There is a charcoal grill by the cabins for a great cookout, picnic tables, and a firepit for roasting marshmallows and sitting around the campfire and watching the stars. Four Seasons Cabins are just across the road from AuTrain Lake where you will find a dock where you can moor your boat or try your luck fishing. AuTrain Lake is ideal for water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, and fishing. The public boat launch is just a few miles south at the Hiawatha National Forest Campground. The AuTrain River runs into the Lake at the campground
and is a wonderful river for canoeing, kayaking, or fishing.
You can put in at the boat launch, cross the lake, and
continue on for a gently paddle as the river meanders
through the Hiawatha National Forest and comes out near the
cottages, or you can paddle all the way to Lake Superior.
Swimmers will find a nice swimming beach at the Hiawatha National Forest Campground just a few miles south of the cabins and a beautiful sandy beach on Lake Superior just north at the M-28 junction. Relax and sit in the sand, build a sand castle, or wade in the refreshing waters of Lake Superior. The village of Au Train has a gas station, post office, grocery store, and deli for your convenience. Recreational opportunities abound in the area. The Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, The Grand Island Recreation Area, and the Hiawatha National Forest offer great hiking trails, mountain biking trails, canoeing and kayaking, hunting, and fishing, There is a golf course in Munising and a Kewadin Casino in Christmas. Try the Shipwreck Tour in the Glass Bottomed Boat, take a Pictured Rocks Cruise, scuba dive in the Alger Underwater Preserve, or enjoy the many area waterfalls. ATV rental in Christmas and trails run near the cabins.
Cross Country skiers will love the trails at Valley Spur or the lighted trail at Christmas. Absolutely wonderful to ski through the woods with the moon and stars shining overhead. You can go ice fishing right outside of the cottage or try exploring some of the ice caves around Grand Island and the Pictured Rocks. Weekly Rental only (Saturday to Saturday) from July 1

Turn south at the blinking light on AuTrain-Forest Lake Road and go south to the corner of Martin Road. Four Seasons Cabins are on the west side of the road.
