HAVE FUN AT BRUNO'S Rest

Two kayaks and a 14’ rowboat are included for use on Townline Lake (also known as Town Lake). Enjoy a peaceful paddle around the lake in one of the kayaks or take the rowboat out for a nice boat ride or fish for panfish and pike, delicious cooked outside on the grill. The dock by the shore is ideal for sitting and relaxing and the sand bottomed beach is perfect for swimming. Townline Lake is a no-wake lake but Pete's Lake is a large recreational lake where jet skis can be used and is only1/2 mile from the cottage.

There are over a dozen other lakes within a few miles for a variety of fishing & recreational activities.

Sit around the fire pit by the shore, cook out on the charcoal grill, play horseshoes, or in case of rain have fun with the fooseball table, dart board & many DVDs, VCR tapes, board games & DVD trivia games provided. Campfire wood is available for a small charge.

Bring your mountain bike for some great trail riding at  Bruno's Run, an 11-mile hiking/mountain biking trail that loops through the woods, over streams, and past lakes that are near the cottage.

ATVers will find easy access to the extensive ORV trail system that runs throughout the forest offering an exciting and scenic ride through the forest.

There is a small general store on the edge of our lake, but we recommend Midway General Store just 4 miles down the road.  You can get the hugest ice cream cones ever seen, breakfast & lunch from their grill, beer, wine, frozen pizza, snacks & basic groceries as well as lures, bait, etc.

For dinner out, Camel Riders Restaurant is excellent, on Co Rd 440, or Buckhorn Bar & Grill on Buckhorn Rd, both about 7 miles away.

Munising is only 11 miles north on Highway 13. Hike on the many trails in the Pictured Rocks or take the boat cruise for a view from the water.  See shipwrecks on the glass bottom boat tour or take a guided kayak tour of the Pictured Rocks and Miners Castle beach. Several beautiful waterfalls are in the area. . . some can be seen from your car while others are a nice hike through the woods.
