Guided Bear and Deer Hunts at the Buck Sporting Lodge Gwinn and Newberry Units Come visit Michigan's Beautiful Upper Peninsula for a hunting experience you will never forget. Your guide, Bob Johnson, owns and
operates The Buck Sporting Lodge All of his efforts are focused on giving the black bear and deer hunting enthusiasts a successful and fun experience. During the years he has established bait sites that produce year after year. Bob's intimate knowledge of the area gives the hunter the maximum opportunity to harvest a bear or deer. On our hunts you are provided with bait and blinds so all you have to do is shoot. At the Buck Sporting Lodge, Bob invites you to come up and check us out! As a true "Guide" he will show you the camps, let you help bait, and give you the opportunity to see the lay of the land. We encourage you to come visit any time after August 15th. Bear hunting in Michigan is run by a lottery system. Applications through the Michigan DNR are available from May 1st - June 1st. Lottery results are available in July and are published online. Our bear hunts are in the Gwinn and Newberry units. Click Here for Information from Michigan DNR
For our bear hunts we offer a 6 night, 5 day hunt for $950.00. All bait, blinds, lodging, and meals are included. Limited spots are available so it is best to reserve your trip early.
