Camp 20 Cabins are located near the town of Laona at the edge of the Nicolet National Forest and ideally situated for enjoying outstanding outdoor recreation including fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, ATVing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, watching wildlife, berry picking, and sightseeing. Nearby Silver Lake has a nice beach for swimming and there is a golf course in Laona. On the Snowmobile & ATV Trails By the Nicolet National Forest Pets are welcome at Camp 20 Cabins Camp 20 Cabins are handcrafted from balsam logs and sleep from 2 to 6 guests, depending on the cabin. All of the cabins have a complete kitchen, central air conditioning, Satellite TV with a VCR player, a gas or wood-burning fireplace, and easy access from the cabin door to the snowmobile and ATV trails. Bed linens, towels and paper products are provided for our guests. Each cabin has a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and there is a fire pit for campfires.
The Rustic Romance Cabin and the Rustic Luxury Cabin are only two blocks from the Rat River for wading in the water or fishing for trout. A basic bundle of wood is provided for the fireplaces and your campfires with additional bundles of firewood available for purchase if desired. or $570 to $630 per week plus tax. Up to 3 children under 18 stay free. * Rates subject to change without notice. Enjoy fishing and canoeing in several nearby lakes and rivers or hunting in the vast forestland and waters of the Nicolet National Forest. ATV and snowmobile trails connect with a multi-county network for unlimited riding.
Hikers and mountain bikers will find 6 miles of trails at Ed's Lake, just a short distance from the cabins. These trails are groomed in the winter for beginning to intermediate cross-country skiers. There are interesting interpretive wildlife trails and many good hiking trails nearby for a stroll through the forest. Stop by the Laona Ranger Station on the west side of town for information and trail maps.
There is also a nearby casino where you might see if you are lucky and the Camp 5 Lumberjack Steam Train takes people to their replica of a logging camp and Museum during the summer. Enjoy a wonderful vacation in these comfortable cabins at Camp 20, surrounded by beautiful scenery and within a short distance of lakes, rivers, and streams in the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin.
