The Tahquamenon Falls Gift Shop at Camp 33 is Open Memorial Day through Oct 21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For that unique gift from the north woods of Michigan, stop at the Tahquamenon Falls Gift Shop at Camp 33, located at the Upper Falls. Here you will find one of the finest gift shops in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

The Camp 33 Gift Shop is next door to the Tahquamenon Brewery and Pub and offers you an excellent selection of fine gifts and apparel.

This is a great place to pick up that sweatshirt you might need for the cooler nights in the U.P. or you can chose from a very large selection of Tee shirts, hats, and jackets.

The Camp 33 Gift Shop is an authorized dealer of those quality Minnetonka Moccasins that everyone loves. These are the ideal slippers and shoes that are so comfortable to wear around the house or outdoors. The Gift Shop also carries Merrell Performance Footwear.

You will also find an excellent selection of books about the Upper Peninsula, Lake Superior, Shipwrecks, Lighthouses, wildlife, and books by Harvest House Publishers.

The Gift Shop features unusual jewelry, some locally made, and a nice selection of copper and Indian jewelry, Yankee Candles, lodge look items, and locally made baskets.

For a special treat try some Pure Maple Syrup made in the U. P. - delicious on pancakes or french toast - or try the salsa and mustard from The Carp River Trading Company.

The Gift Shop carries Woodstock Wind Chimes and Zen lotions and fragrances

You will find tapestry and other wall hangings, cut glass items, tapes and CDs, plus many other items.

The younger generation will enjoy the puzzles, games, and polished agates and other rocks for their collections.

There are also those small souvenirs that they like and a treasure trove of stuffed animals in all sizes, including TY items, big bears, moose and other wildlife. You can even find a stuffed teddy bear head to hang on the wall.

Film is available for those unique photo opportunities at the Falls, postcards, greeting cards, and a nice selection of framed wildlife photographs, paintings and prints by various artists.

Don't forget to look up when you enter the Camp 33 Gift Shop and enjoy the beautiful murals of Tahquamenon Falls that were painted by Upper Peninsula artist Elizabeth Yelland.

Barrett Ludlow and his sister Lark have restored Camp 33 which was purchased by their grandparents, Jack and Mimi Barrett. (History of Camp 33) The land surrounding Camp 33 was sold to the State of Michigan by their grandparents with the stipulation that the land must be maintained as a recreational area so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Tahquamenon Falls.
