Catchin’ Crickets Campground offers 25 rustic sites in a peaceful location about 10 minutes east of Munising.  The campground has nice level sites with a gravel pad that is great for tents but will hold campers up to 30’ in length. There is a new clean privy located within easy access of the sites. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Hand pump for water. Firewood is available to purchase at the campground. Reservations now available.

Three Bedroom Vacation Home

Campers at Catchin’ Crickets Campground are only minutes away from all the wonderful things to see and do in the Munising area. Hikers will love the many trails in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and on Grand Island. Some trails are an easy stroll while others are a bit of a challenge. Go kayaking on Lake Supererior and see the Pictured Rocks from the water. Bring your own kayak, rent one in town, or take a kayak tour. There are several beautiful waterfalls near the campground for people to enjoy. Beach lovers will like sitting in the sand and getting their feet wet at the Sand Point Beach on Lake Superior.

Mountain Bikers will find great trails and back roads in the Hiawatha National Forest for scenic ride. Bring your ATV or rent one in Munising and take an exciting ride on the many ORV trails in Alger County while anglers will find numerous great inland lakes nearby for fishing.

There is a restaurant only 1 mile away serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner or Munising offers many places to eat.

CATCHIN' CRICKETS VACATION HOME
New 3-Bedroom Vacation Home with 2 bathrooms and a gas fireplace in the living area.
The complete kitchen has new appliances and there is a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Two bedrooms have a queen bed in each room and the 3rd bedroom in the loft is furnished with  2 double/twin bunk beds. Sleeps up to 10 guests. There are 2 bathrooms. One bathroom has a tub/shower combination and the second bathroom has a shower.

Linens, towels, and start-up paper products are provided. Grill, picnic table, and fire pit are in the yard by the home.

Taking reservations now for rentals beginning Saturday, May 26, 2017
Weekly rentals only during July and August  (Saturday to Saturday)
3-Night minimum from September 1 through the end of June.

DIRECTIONS to the Campground and Vacation Home:
From Munising via H-58: Go 9 miles east of Munising to County Road H-15. (Bear Trap Inn is located at the intersection) Turn  right on H-15 and travel one mile and Catchin’ Crickets is on the left side of the road.

From Munising via M-28: G0 10 miles east of Munising to the town of Shingleton. Turn left at blinker light (H-15), then go 3.5 miles and Catchin’ Crickets is on the right.

From the East (Mackinaw Bridge) on M-28: Take M-28 to Shingleton. Turn right at the blinking light (H-15), then go 3.5 miles and Catchin’ Crickets is on the right.
