The Convenient Vacation Home is situated on the shores of South Manistique Lake in the waterfront village of Curtis, Michigan. The vacation home is conveniently located only 65 miles east of the Mackinac Bridge, a great spot for your vacation.

Convenient Vacation Home offers 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and laundry facilities.   There is a deck with outdoor furniture and a gas grill for your outdoor cooking. The nicely furnished living area offers cable TV and there is a dining table by the windows for comfortable eating while enjoying the view of the lake.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms contain a queen-size bed while the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Linens, towels, and paper products are furnished for our guests.

The nice sand bottomed beach is perfect for the children. Relax by the water with your favorite book, catch some sun, go wading or swimming, or try your luck fishing.  There is a fire pit for your campfire under the stars.

The Convenient Vacation Home is conveniently located near local establishments in downtown Curtis for shopping and dining. Summer visitors will find boat launches on South Manistique Lake and Big Manistique Lake, only 1/8 mile from the cottage.

Bring your own boat for fishing, boating, or water sports. No equpment? Boats, kayaks, and paddleboards can be rented with pick-up at the boat landing on South Maistique Lake.

There is easy access to the ATV and snowmobile trails for great fun on the many miles of groomed trails that traverse the area. Snowmobile and ATV rentals are located in downtown Curtis.

The Convenient Vacation Home is conveniently located for taking various interesting day trips in the area. The Seney Wildlife Refuge is
just west of Curtis. Stop at the Visitor Center for interesting displays and presentations, try the hiking & biking trails, or take the 7 mile Wildlife Marshland Drive, a self guided auto tour with docks and spotting scopes along the way.

The Seul Choix Lighthouse, Museum, and Gift Shop is nearby in Gulliver. The restored lighthouse is open for tours and the tower of this active light is open for climbing.

Take a ride north of the cottage to Newberry and visit the Logging Museum or visit beautiful Tahquamenon Falls. Golfers will find a 18 hole course just north of Curtis in Newberry.

Winter is great fun in the Curtis Area. Enjoy snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or ice fishing. There are cross-country ski trails in Curtis or at the Seney Refuge for skiing or snowshoeing, while ice fishermen will enjoy fishing right in front of the cottage on South Manistique Lake.

Weekly Rentals Friday to Friday. $1150 per week
September through June:
$200 per night (3-Night Minimum)
