Copper Harbor Pathway

Enjoy the romance and wilderness experience of the Northwoods when skiing Copper Harbor's Pathway. The trails are machine or snowshoe groomed as necessary. All trails are designed for traditional skiing only.

To get to the Copper Harbor Pathway, turn right again at Community Center, drive past the Fanny Hooe Resort to find parking and the main trailhead.

TRAIL DESCRIPTIONS:

FORT WILKIN'S STATE PARK - 3.4 km - Family - Easy skiing along Lake Fanny Hooe and through the State Park.

JOHN LINCOLN GREEN TRAIL - 1 km - Family -Short gentle run along shore of Lake Fanny Hooe.

CLARK MINE - 7.2 km -Intermediate - Gentle and steep climb up and gradual and steep descent.

KAMAKAZIE - 9 km - Intermediate to Expert - Long steep hill.

HUNTER'S POINT - 3.2 km - Family - Easy snowshoeing along Lake Superior's shoreline.

ESTIVANT PINES - 5.4 km - Snowshoe trail ski through virgin white pine forest.
