Vacation in this delightful new two-bedroom log cabin in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin, located on Spring Lake, .7 mile from Highway US-2 between Iron Mountain, Michigan and the town of Florence in Northeastern Wisconsin.

Country Charm Log Cabin offers daily or weekly rentals in this comfortable vacation home. The open concept living area has a cathedral ceiling, sofa, a comfortable chair, and cable TV with a DVD player. The kitchen has full sized appliances, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker and there is a snack bar with 8 stools overlooking the lake. Sit around the snack bar and play cards, board games, or just enjoy your meal as you look out over the woods and water.

Country Charm Log Cabin has two spacious bedrooms with a full bathroom and a half-bath. One bedroom has 2 double beds with a half bath and the other bedroom contains a double bed and a twin bed. Both bedrooms have a dresser and large closets. Full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Towels, linens, and paper products are provided for our guests.

Steps lead to the lower level that is unfinished at the present time . . . a perfect spot to store your outdoor toys and winter clothing.

A large deck surrounds two sides of the log cabin and there are chairs for enjoying your morning beverage along with the beautiful scenery of northern Wisconsin. There is a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and a fire pit by the cabin for campfires under the stars.

Our log cabin is so new that we are adding additional features as we have a chance. Our dock will be put in during the spring of 2007 and we will have a small boat for rowing around the lake.

The Country Charm Log Cabin is located near the Chuckwagon Bar & Grill for food and beverages, convenience stores & party marts, and local supper clubs for a delicious dinner.

 

 The town of Iron Mountain is only 6 miles east of the cabin and offers many attractions and recreational opportunities for visitors to the area. Visit the iron and historical museums, tour an iron mine, or go whitewater rafting. Browse our unique shops or dine in one of our fine restaurants.

Outdoor lovers will enjoy the Spread Eagle Barrens for hiking, hunting, exploring, and maybe finding a few tasty berries along the way. For fishing and water sports, there is a public boat landing on Lake Elwood just a couple miles from the cabin or you can launch your boat on North Lake in the Spread Eagle Chain. There is also a boat launch at the Pine River or at Twin Falls for Badwater Lake and the Menominee River where you will find some great fishing and boating. Thousands of acres of public land for hunting.

Explore the Nicolet National Forest as you look for wildlife, visit the waterfalls, and hike the many trails. Several area golf courses are nearby. Country Charm Log Rental Cabin has lots of room to park your boat, ATV, and snowmobile trailers with easy access to area trails and nearby boat launches.

Winter lovers will enjoy downhill skiing & snowboarding at Pine Mountain Resort or Keyes Peak just south of Florence. There are cross-country ski trails, lots of woods for snowshoeing, and hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. Our cabin has easy access to the snowmobile trail that runs on the roadbed for the old railroad tracks. Ride east into Michigan, west on the Florence County trails, or north into Iron County in Michigan. Snowmobile rentals on the north side of Iron Mountain.

Summer Visitors
Watch the Badwater Ski-Ters Waterski Show every Wednesday and Sunday night at 6 pm. Lots of fun and no admission charge. Mini Golf and Bumper Cars at the Bears Den on US-2 near the Menominee River Bridge.
