The beautiful Country Inn & Suites opened in July 2007 and has a variety of comfortable accommodations to suit your needs. We offer 84 non-smoking guest rooms and suites with an elevator for your convenience.

Our accommodations include single and double guest rooms and suites. We offer a double queen room, a king room, and a king studio room with a sleeper sofa and sitting area. Our suites include our king suite with one bedroom and sleeper sofa, a double queen suite with a separate bedroom, a whirlpool suite, and our honeymoon suite. Our extended Stay Suite features a separate kitchen/living area and bedroom with one king bed. Some guest rooms and suites are handicap accessible.

All of our guest rooms include cable TV, wireless high-speed internet access, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, free local phone calls, and in-room coffee. Our suites have a microwave and refrigerator. The daily newspaper is provided for our guests. Guest laundry facilities available.

We offer a deluxe complimentary continental breakfast served in our breakfast room from 6 am to 9:30 am Monday through Friday and from 7 am to 10:30 am on Saturday and Sunday. The extensive menu features waffles, biscuits & gravy, cereals, assorted pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, and assorted beverages.

Our conference/meeting room will hold up to 40 people . . . . an ideal location for your business meetings, family gatherings, showers, or other special events.

The Country Inn & Suites is conveniently located across from a shopping center with a variety of restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive from the Hotel. The Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and the Veterans Hospital are within one mile of the Inn.

The Iron Mountain area abounds with history when iron mining was the major industry along the Menominee Iron Range. Our museums offer a glimpse into the past when these mines were flourishing.

Visit our beautiful parks, swimming beaches, woodlands, and lakes. Watch for wildlife and unusual birds, golf at several area courses, hike or bike on forest trails, canoe or fish our rivers and streams, or go whitewater rafting at Piers Gorge on the Menominee River, the most challenging section of whitewater in the Midwest. The nature trail offers a view of the falls, enjoyed by hikers, rock hounds, and photographers.

Pine Mountain hosts the exciting ski jumping competition on one of the world's highest artificial ski jumps in mid February. Take a drive up to the top of Pine Mountain for an awesome view of the countryside and visit the new Upper Peninsula Veterans Memorial.

Two exciting ski areas, Norway Mountain and Pine Mountain are within 7 miles of the Country Inn & Suites and offer downhill skiing and snowboarding with equipment rentals available.

The Fumee Lake Natural Area for silent sports offers miles of wooded trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and hiking and biking in the summer. A wonderful natural habitat for watching wildlife all year round.
