Curtis Lodge is located just 68 miles west of the Mackinac Bridge

Curtis Lodge offers comfortable lodging in this side-by-side duplex located directly across from the boat landing on Big Manistique Lake, 3 miles north of Curtis, MI in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The lodge has a 3 bedroom unit with two bathrooms and a complete kitchen that will sleep up to 9 guests and a 1 bedroom unit with a kitchenette that sleeps up to 4 guests. The units have a connecting door so the units can be combined for a large group. Both units have a gas fireplace and satellite TV in the living area and there is an attached heated garage for guests to use. Linens, towels, and paper products are provided.

Easy access to snowmobile and ATV trails from the lodge door and summer visitors will enjoy the public swimming beach on Big Manistique Lake, only 300 yards from the Lodge.

Three Bedroom Unit
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an attached bathroom with a shower. Bedroom #2 has a set of bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a twin on the top, and bedroom #3 has a set of twin bunk beds. The 2nd bathroom has a shower.There is a futon in the living area that opens up for extra guests. The modern kitchen has full size appliances, a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster.

One Bedroom Unit
The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and there is a shower in the bathroom. The futon in the living area opens up for extra guests. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, microwave, large toaster oven, and a griddle for cooking your breakfast pancakes.

There is a gas grill outside the Lodge for outdoor cooking and a firepit for campfires under the stars.

Our attached heated 1200 square foot drive- through garage is ideal for working on your sleds or ATVs.

Guests at Curtis Lodge will find an ideal spot for their vacation. Bring your boat or rent a fishing boat, paddle boat, or pontoon in Curtis and spend some time on Big Manistique Lake. Try your luck fishing or just take a slow cruise around the lake. The three Manistique lakes, with over 15,000 acres of water, provide unlimited family recreational opportunities. Curtis is also located near a network of rivers and trout streams . . . .a delight for anglers of all ages.

The swimming beach is just 300 yards past the landing and is a great spot to spend the day or afternoon. Bring your picnic lunch and enjoy this relaxing atmosphere surrounded by the woods and the waters.

During the fall, come for our stunning fall color season. Hunt for small game, bear, waterfowl and deer or go off-roading through the woods.

During the winter, try our hundreds of miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. You can also go ice fishing for Walleye in December and Northern Pike and Perch in February. Snowmobile rentals in Curtis and Newberry.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore; the lower and upper Tahquamenon Falls; Big Springs (Kitch-iti-kipi), known to the indians as the mirror of heaven; Seul Choix Lighthouse, Park and Museum, known locally as "the haunted lighthouse"; The Soo locks - view large Great Lakes freighters and the locks in operation; the 95,000 acre Seney National Wildlife Refuge; Grand Sable Falls and Sand Dunes in Grand Marais; tour the Whitefish Point Lighthouse, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, the Whitefish Point Bird Observatory or visit the remote Crisp Point Lighthouse on a deserted beach north of Newberry.

Three-Bedroom Unit: $125.00 per day; $699.00 per week plus tax
2-day Minimum Stay
$100.00 discount if both units are rented together.

From St. Ignace, drive west on US-2 to Route H-33 and go north to Curtis Lodge.
From Sault Ste. Marie, take M-28 to Route H-33 and turn south.
