Rental days run from 9 am to 8
pm on the last day of your rentsl.
If the sled is rented for multiple days, you may keep
the sled overnight.
All rentals include helmet. Limited jacket and bibs available at no charge.
We offer helmets with electric shields at an additional cost (must reserve in advance)
Operators are required to read
and sign a "Hold Harmless" agreement.
Operators must possess a valid
credit card for a damage deposit and be 18 years of age.
Damage waivers are available for
$25/day with a $1000 deductible.
Operators are responsible for
following all trail rules and regulations and agree to
practice safe snowmobiling.
Reservations are taken with a
major credit card (Mastercard, Visa, and
Discover).
A $100 per sled deposit is required at the time of reservation.
Deposit will be deducted from rental total at time of picking up sled.
There is a 15 cancellation policy. If you cancel within the 15 days, your deposit will not be returned.
Rental
includes hemet, jacket, and bibs if needed.
We offer shuttle service to and from Houghton/Hancock motels and we also offer delivery, fee based on delivery destination. Local transportation and overnight parking can be arranged as needed.
Dan's is a complete outfitter with a full line of parts, accessories and clothing to get you on the trails. Dan's specializes in Polaris Parts and Service.
Our experienced service department boasts a combined 125 years of mechanical experience.
It's recommended that you make reservations for Christmas and New Years holidays and for the Michigan Technological University Winter Carnival in February at least two months in advance.

Monday thru Friday- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday- 9 a.m. to NOON
