Dream America offers guided outdoor adventure trips for women in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan or in almost any location in the United States. Start planning now for a wonderful Girlfriends Getaway. While our headquarters is located in Rapid River Michigan in the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we will be glad to arrange a convenient meeting place to start your trip. Exciting recreational opportunities await you and your group in the beautiful out-of-doors. Accommodations can be arranged for camping under the stars or relaxing in a motel or cabin for the night. Meals can be prepared on the outdoor grill, or we will dine in one of the nice area restaurants. Just let us know what you would like to do on your girlfriends getaway, and we will set up a fun adventure for you and your friends. Your guide, Kelli, has been in the woods hiking and backpacking since she was a young girl and will help you plan an exciting adventure. She will be your guide as you enjoy excursions in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan or she will facilitate trips in other locations throughout the United States and will accompany you or your small group. Guided trips can be booked for any season throughout the year.

Relax at a secluded cabin on a lake or set up your tent by a stream where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and the companionship of your friends? Our trips are customized to fit your interests and physical ability. We have tours for individuals or a small group of 1-4 ladies. Just call or e-mail us and we will work out a wonderful excursion for you from a half-day to an adventure of several days or longer. Don't worry about gear. Equipment rentals are available at reasonable prices.
Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in the Western U.P.. Backpack or hike in this true wilderness area with lodging in one of the rustic cabins located in the Park. Seney National Wildlife Refuge: Paddle the Manistique River through the refuge in your canoe or kayak and enjoy a picnic lunch. A wonderful opportunity to see unusual birds and wildlife. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore: Hike or backpack on some of the trails, see the sandstone cliffs, view some waterfalls, pitch our tent under the stars, or take a tour by kayak along the shoreline. Grand Island: Bicycle around the Island. Our ride can be combined with camping. Waterfall Tours: Visit some of the 120 waterfalls in the Upper Peninsula. About 15 falls are within a few miles of our headquarters. Isle Royale National Park: We'll take the ferry to Isle Royale, a true wilderness island. A wonderful place to backpack and hike on this remote island with lots of wildlife. Fishing Trips on the many lakes and streams of the Hiawatha National Forest or Charter Fishing on Lake Superior or Lake Michigan. Get some of those big walleyes the guys are always talking about. Fall Color Tours of the beautiful Upper Peninsula. This trip is ideal for photographers. Canoe or Kayak down a peaceful stream or river as it meanders through the forest. Rustic camping on lakes and streams. Get together with a few friends for a little fun sitting around the campfire, singing some of those old songs, exchanging stories, and roasting a few marshmallows. Tom's Cabin by Tom's Lake. This secluded cabin is ideal for women's retreats, relaxing, and getting away from it all. Photography Tours for nature and historic photography Dog sledding: Mush your own dogsled team along a snowy forest trail. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, whitewater rafting (in the U.P. or beyond), horseback riding, plus much more. If camping is not your thing, comfortable accommodations can be arranged at local B&B's, motels, or cabins in the area and a nice dinner at a nearby restaurant.

We will help you plan your trip and have everything arranged for an exciting adventure. Our guiding services include making all your reservations and arrange for lodging. Guides are $200 per day for one or two people plus $100 per day for each additional person. Equipment rentals, meals, and expenses pertaining to your trip will be an additional charge. Group Facilitator Services: We make all your arrangements and accompany your group to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. $200.00 per day Dream America offers equipment rentals such as canoes, kayaks, snowshoes, backpacks, tents, etc. Other expenses might include food, lodging, permits, airfare, etc. depending on the type and length of your tour.
