Duval's Lakeside Resort is on the Menominee River, just north of Iron Mountain, Michigan - 5 miles off U.S. Highway 2 Nestled in the North woods, Duval's Waterfront Cabins are ideal for a family resort - quiet, secluded, and scenic. Our location is unique in that we are on the lake side
of the Menominee River. Clean sand beach with water just the
right temperature for swimming in the summertime.
Miles Our spacious housekeeping cottages overlook the water ! Spaced for privacy. Each unit is different, carefully planned and designed for your comfort, 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms, pleasant front rooms, modern bathrooms with showers (some with bath tubs), finest kitchens with electric stoves, large refrigerators, microwaves, cooking utensils and dishes furnished. Television, VCR, 2 to 8 people per unit. Picnic table and grill near each cottage. Deer and other forms of wildlife live in this natural setting. Some of the largest white pines in Michigan are on this wooded acreage. Fresh, clear, pine scented air. Duval's Lakeside Resort is located about ten miles north of the Iron Mountain business district - near many establishments, attractions and "fun things" to do.
There are thousands of acres of State land for hunting. We are close to Hiking and Mountain Biking trails, Whitewater Rafting, Iron Mountain Iron Mine, Pine Mountain Ski Area and Ski-Ters Water Show. Iron Mountain has an Airport, Supper Clubs, Modern Shopping Malls, Restaurants, Grocery Stores, Laundromats, Tennis Courts, Bowling Lanes, Famous Cornish Pump and Mining Museum, Menominee Range Historical Museum, Theater, Churches of All Denominations and Golf Courses.
