Falling Rock Lodge offers vacation lodging on beautiful Powell Lake, ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, and enjoying all the Munising area has to offer. The Lodge is on the trail for ATV'ing, snowmobiling, and close to groomed cross-country ski trails.

Your stay includes a breakfast basket of fresh roasted coffee from the Great Lakes Coffee Company, bagels, and delicious baked goods or coupons for breakfast at The Falling Rock Café and Bookstore in Munising.

This comfortable 700 square feet lodge is located above a 3 car garage with a private entrance and deck. A large picture window provides an excellent view of Powell Lake. One bedroom contains a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin-sized beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area for a larger group. There is a bath with large shower. Linens and towels provided.

The great room has a western red cedar interior with satellite TV, DVD, and high-speed wireless internet service, and the kitchen has a full-sized stove and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, and cookware. Guests may also enjoy the picnic table, gas grill, and fire pit by the lake.

Powell Lake is spring fed and has good fishing for bass, pike, walleye, perch and panfish. There is a kayak, rowboat, and fishing gear for guests to use. The lake has a nice sandy bottom for swimming and a dock for sunning or sitting and reading your favorite book. We have bicycles for guests to use for a ride on some of the back roads of the Hiawatha National Forest.

Children and adults will fall in love with the tree house which is a miniature version of the lodge right down to the western red cedar interior and green metal roof. Here's where you can enjoy the best view of the lake!
