A short drive will take you to many attractions in the Upper Peninsula.  Tour the Seul Choix Lighthouse in Gulliver, some say it is haunted, and climb the tower for a great view of Lake Michigan, visit Mackinac Island, Kitch-iti-kipi (Michigan's Big Spring), Whitefish Point, Seney Wildlife Refuge, Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, Soo Locks, Oswald's Bear Ranch, and scenic Grand Marais, the eastern entrance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Enjoy the sights by car, boat, atv, or hiking boots!

Wonderful outdoor activities await you. Hunting opportunities abound or simply go blueberry picking or take a fall color tour. There is easy access to thousands of acres of public land. Golfers will find a challenge at the Newberry Country Club, a few miles north of the cottage. Drive north of Newberry to view Tahquamenon Falls, one of the largest falls east of the Mississippi River.
