Freighters View Motel and Kitchenettes is on Lake Superior at Paradise in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Located 2 miles north of Paradise on the waters edge of Whitefish Bay

Four modern rooms and kitchenettes with picture windows overlooking Whitefish Bay. All may be rented for one night. All units have gas grills, picnic tables, color TV, VCR and free movies. Attached carports. All linens and towels are furnished. The maximum occupancy for each unit is 4 people including children.

Paradise Michigan Upper Peninsula Freighters View has 240' of frontage on Whitefish Bay (Lake Superior) with access to swimming from one of our two sun decks. There are chairs on our decks for sitting and watching the huge freighters go by and enjoying this awesome view.

Units 1 and 3 are basic rooms. Available for overnight rental. Gas grill is for hot dogs and hamburgers. Inside there are 2 double beds, bathroom with shower, small refrigerator and a coffee pot.

Units 2 and 4 are kitchenette rooms. Available for overnight rental. 2 double beds, bathroom with shower, small refrigerator, coffee pot, double kitchen sink and a 3 burner stove top. Pots, pans, dishes are provided.

There is a campfire pit for a nightly bonfire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows or just relaxing. Wood is provided for your campfire. If you're lucky, you might see a full moon rise over Lake Superior or Northern Lights. At night you will often see the lights from freighters passing to and from the Soo Locks.

This is one of the most beautiful spots in the Upper Peninsula during fall color season - Color season is usually the last week in Sept and the first three weeks of October. Call for your reservations and color updates.

The breath-taking Upper Tahquamenon Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River; the smaller, but equally beautiful, Lower Tahquamenon Falls

Point Iroquois Lighthouse and Museum, the lighthouse that guided ships into the Soo Locks.

The Paradise Wild Blueberry Festival takes place the third weekend in August of each year.
