The Gateway Lodge is located in the town of Land O’ Lakes in the northwoods of Wisconsin on the border of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Historic Gateway Lodge offers studios and suites with nightly rentals available.  This beautifully maintained lodge gives you a glimpse into the past as you enjoy the beauty of nature in northern Wisconsin.  Relax by the wood-burning fireplace, take a walk in the woods, paddle a peaceful lake, or fish for that big one.

The magnificent lobby greets you on your arrival. Comfortable furnishings surround the wood-burning fireplace and invite you to relax, read or plan your adventure. Wireless internet access is available so you can catch up on your e-mail or reading.

The Gateway Lodge Restaurant is open for dinner from Tuesday through Saturday and the Gateway Lounge is the coziest lounge in town that serves your favorite beverage.

The Gateway Lodge offers studios and suites with kitchenettes, dining area, a queen or  twin bed, cable TV, private bath, ceiling fan, and air conditioning.  

Start your day with our complimentary continental breakfast served from 6 to 9:30 am with coffee available anytime during your stay. The Gateway Lodge also offers a coin laundry and a game room.

Take a swim in the inviting indoor pool or you can relax in our heated hot tub or try the redwood sauna for a true up north experience.

The Gateway Lodge is an ideal spot for enjoying the beauty of the lakes and woods of Northern Wisconsin. It’s only a few miles from the famed Cisco Chain of Lakes, 15 connected lakes for fishing, paddling, and boating and the rugged Sylvania Wilderness. You can hike or tour the wilderness by kayak or canoe.

WINTER FUN
Ride from the door on miles of groomed snowmobile trails that connect throughout northern Wisconsin and lead up to the Upper Peninsula or go cross-country skiing on our local groomed trails. Enjoy an exciting adventure through the woodlands and return to the Gateway Lodge for a nice dinner, a beverage, and relax in front of the fireplace.

Sport shooting is available at the Gateway Gun Club from May through October. Open to the public as well as guests of the Gateway Lodge.  The Gun Club, established in 1938, offers an extensive sporting clays course with tournaments yearly. Lessons available.

The Historic Gateway Lodge was built of hand-hewn logs by local craftsmen almost 100 years ago with paneling of native pine adding to the beauty of the building. Take a step back in time and enjoy this amazing lodge that has been so popular with generations of guests for many years.
