Grand Marais, Michigan- The Eastern Gateway to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Offering Kayak and Canoe Rentals as an Agent of Uncle Ducky Outdoors, LLC. This is the spot to rent a single or tandem kayak or canoe to paddle along the shores of the Grand Marais Harbor, the Grand Sable Dunes, Grand Sable Lake, and the Blind Sucker Flooding. Enjoy the solitude of this sleepy little fishing village and logging town of the the early 1900’s from the waters edge as you glide along the beautiful shores of Lake Superior and the Grand Sable Dunes. Guided Trips are available with notice.
We have 11ft. recreational kayaks, 16ft. single and 19ft. tandem touring sea kayaks with storage compartments to put camping gear and your valuables. 15 and 16 ft. Old Town Canoes are also available. Paddles and Life preservers are included in the rental prices. Kayaks and Canoes are also available for transport to local inland lakes. Pads and straps are available for a small fee. Deliveries can also be arranged for a small fee to the Hurricane River and 12 Mile Beach campgrounds.
Rentals are available for as little as 2 hours or you may go for up to 1 week. If you have a large party, no worries, or if we don’t have the exact boat you are looking for we can possibly bring one from our base in Marquette. Reservations are encouraged but only for a minimum of 8 hours. Group sizes of up to 20 individuals normally can be accommodated as long as reservations are made in advance.

The above prices do not include 6% Michigan Use Tax.
It’s best to make a reservation ( 8 hours minimum) but it’s not imperative.

Rentals are available from Memorial Day weekend through September.
