Kenbuck Resort is located in the Hiawatha National Forest yet deep in the dense woods (Maps) with 100 lakes within ten miles of your cabin. The resort is located about 15 miles north of US-2 in the forest between Manistique and Rapit Rapid River.

Kenbuck is a sportsman's resort with 5 clean housekeeping cabins.
There are four two-bedroom cabins and one with three bedrooms.
All cabins have the following:

Pots and Pans
Charcoal Grill for Outsoor Cooking
Cups amd Glasses
Each cabin comes with a Row Boat.
Only 1/4 mile to Stevens Lake where the boats are kept.

Please bring dish towels, bath towels, food & clothing, plus your favorite fishing rod, gun, snowmobile, or camera. `
Sandy, shallow creek and great play area for kids. There are two screen houses, playground, fire pit, picnic table, grill, and fish cleaning house for your convenience. Bring your own horse. National Forest Trails are right down the road so you can begin your adventure at your front door.

This is the ideal location for horse owners to bring their own horses as there is a ga barn with stalls for your horses and portable corrals available and the Pine Marten Horse Trail is nearby. We have space for your horses and trailers so you can ride through the forest, just you and your horse, without another human being in sight.

The Pine Marten Horse Trail (Map) can also be used for cross country skiing, biking, or hiking so you can take that trip through the forest that you've always dreamed about.

Fall colors are beautiful as the forest abounds with hardwoods. Any time of year is a great opportunity for some outstanding wildlife photographs. You will see the creatures of the forest everywhere you look.

Snowmobile through the deep woods, then end up back at the cottage or at your favorite night spot. You can snowmobile anywhere you want from here, this area has deep snow and over 300 miles of trails connecting to the over 2,500 miles of trails in the Upper Peninsula. For the ultimate winter adventure spend the day dog sledding. Snowmobile rentals in Munising. Cross Country ski and mountain bike trails nearby. Enjoy the best of the entire Munising area while staying in the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest.

There is plenty of room for parking boat, horse, or snowmobile trailers.

April 1-October 1 (Fall rates up by $10/night, $50/week)
$70/night $350/week for 2 bedroom (2 double beds, except #4 has an extra single bunk)
$90/night  $450/week for 3 bedroom (4 double beds and flip out couch)
December1-March 31:
By the week only:
$400/week for two bedrooms (pre paid, no refunds)
$500/week for three bedrooms (pre paid, no refunds)
