This lakeside resort on Lac La Belle is open all
year round The Resort also has a convenience store with gas and the Bear Belly Bar & Grill overlooking the lake. Sit, relax, and enjoy the view of the lake and Mt.Bohemia in the distance. Unusual birds are often found at the many feeders around the deck. Cabins: Pets and smoking are permitted in some of the cabins. ($25.00 extra charge for pets per stay) Two cabins and The Big House are non-smoking We offer a nice beach area for our guests and campfires by the lake.
All of the cabins are fully furnished with double beds in the bedrooms and a pullout couch and Satellite TV in the living area. The kitchens include full size appliances, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, and pots & pans. The bathroom has a standup shower. Bed linens are provided, but please bring your own towels.
Cabins #3, #4, #5, amd #6 are two bedroom cabins. The Big House is a non-smoking vacation home
that has 4 bedrooms with one bedroom on the main
floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is a bathroom
on each floor. Fully equipped kitchen with a mun
room containing a washer & dryer. The bedrooms
have double, queen, and bunk beds so the Big House
has plenty of room for a large group of 10 or more
guests. Bed linens are provided but please bring
your own towels. The secluded Lac La Belle Lodge is in a wilderness area, with paved and well-plowed roads. It has direct water access to Lake Superior and Bete Grise Bay via the Mendota Ship Canal. There is a nearby boat launch, and boat and motor rentals are available at the store. Come up for the day or longer. Pick up your bait and tackle at the store, head out to the lake, and see if you can get that big one. Dock rental space available. Lac La Belle is an approximate 1100 acre lake with a water depth of 39 feet, perfect for swimming, waterskiing, and fishing. You'll find many fish and quiet places. Fish include walleye, small and large mouth bass, perch, crappie, northern pike, and muskie.

289-4118 Winter is a wonderful time for a visit to the Lac La Belle Lodge, only 1/4 mile from the Mt. Bohemia Ski Hill, the newest and most exciting expert ski hill in the area. This is the closest lodging to the mountain and a perfect location so that you can be the first one at the lift. Lac La Belle Lodge is on snowmobile trail #132 so you can try out all that snow the Keweenaw Peninsula is famous for. If you don't have a sled, snowmobile rental is available at our store. Call and reserve your snowmobile early and start planning your exciting adventure. The resort is partially accessible to handicapped persons. To get to the Lac La Belle Lodge take U.S. 41 north of Calumet to the Lac La Belle Road. This road is just past the Delaware Mine. Go right on the Lac La Belle road, keeping to the left at the next intersection. Continue to follow this road past Mt. Bohemia Ski Hill on the left and Lake Lac La Belle on the right. Turn right at the next road and go past the marina for 1/8 mile. Turn right and go to the end of the road and you will be at the Lac La Belle Lodge and Cabins.
