Lake View Lodge is a four-bedroom vacation home with three full bathrooms that will sleep up to 12 guests . . . lots of room for a family or a group of friends. The Lodge is right on the shores of Stanley Lake for boating, water sports, and fishing for a variety of fish. There is a dock for the boats or you can just sit in the sun and soak up some rays, take a dip in the lake, while you relax and enjoy this absolutely awesome scenery. There is a nice beach for swimming and a water trampoline for some fun in the water. The cottage comes complete with two 14' rowboats and a paddleboat for exploring Stanley Lake or you can bring your own boat for waterskiing and wakeboarding . . . an ideal place for your summer vacation.

Lake View Lodge has a complete kitchen with full sized appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, waffle maker, dishwasher and a refrigerator with an ice- maker and water dispenser. Snack bar with stools or the dining table will seat up to 10 guests so there seating for everybody. The kitchen is supplied with cooking utensils and tableware so all you need to do is bring your food and beverages and you are set for a wonderful vacation.

The great room has a remote controlled electric fireplace and a satellite TV for watching your favorite shows and lots of windows facing the lake. Sliding doors lead out to the large wraparound deck where you can fire up the gas grill for your barbcue or relax in the lawn chairs while you enjoy the northwoods. There is a phone for local calls or your friends can contact you there. You will need to use a calling card for long distance calls. Check out your skills on our ping pong table.

Lake View Lodge has four comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, a walk-in closet, an alarm clock, a TV, and a private bathroom. The other bedroom on the main floor has a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination is right next to the bedroom. Hot Tub for relaxing after a busy day.

There is a family room and two bedrooms on the lower level and a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom has two sets of bunk beds with a full-sized bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top. The other bedroom has a full bed and a great view of the lake. Linens, towels, and paper products are provided, but you might want to bring your own beach towels.

The Family Room in the lower level has an electric fireplace, TV with VCR and DVD players, an air hockey table, and various board games for everyone to enjoy. Large windows overlook the lake and the doors lead right outside to a patio with chairs and a fire pit for your campfires. There is a small deck part way down towards the lake after the first set of steps.

Lake View Lodge is ideally situated for enjoying all the wonderful outdoor recreation available in the Upper Peninsula, yet only10 miles from Iron River for shopping, visiting the museum, and dining in some of the area restaurants.

For warm weather fun, there are two golf courses just a few miles away including the George Young 18 hole Championship Golf Course. Brule Mountain offers horseback riding and canoe, tube, and mountain bike rentals, and there are hiking trails, a wide variety of lakes and rivers for fishing, and lots of public land for hunting. The western end of the Brule River is a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream and also lots of fun for canoeing, kayaking, and tubing.

Winter enthusiasts will find the Lake View Lodge surrounded by exciting winter activities. Brule Mountain, 2 miles from the Lodge, offers downhill skiing, tubing, snowboarding and has groomed cross-country ski trails with equipment rentals available. Try snowshoeing around the Lodge or go ice fishing on Stanley Lake.

Snowmobilers will find the snowmobile trails only 1 mile from the Lodge with easy trail access. These trails lead to over 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails in Iron County. Trails lead into Wisconsin or branch out in all directions so you can ride all over the Upper Peninsula. Snowmobile rentals at Brule Mountain.

Iron River and Crystal Falls have fun festivals, arts & crafts shows, the Rodeo, the Iron County Fair and many other interesting events going on throughout the year.

*Rates for Lake View Lodge
Winter - $225 per night for 3 or more nights. $250.00 per night for a 2-night stay. $1100/week
Spring - $225/night with a 2-night minimum until Memorial Day
Summer- $1850/week - Saturday to Saturday Stay (weekly only unless available)
Fall - $200/night with a 2-night minimum or $1000/week.
Holiday Rates are $50/night in addition to the rates above.
