Little Bear Cabin is located on the shores of Keweenaw Bay, Lake Superior, in the town of Baraga, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Little Bear Log Cabin is situated on 366' of private shoreline on Keweenaw Bay and is a delightful spot to watch the sunrise or enjoy the awesome view of the Bay. The cabin has one bedroom furnished with a unique handmade log queen-size bed with carved bears on the bedpost. The skylight over the bed offers an outstanding view of the night sky and the original wood-burning fireplace is in one corner of the room with wood provided for a cozy fire.

The bathroom features an unusual sink made from a huge pine log with painted pinecones and a spa tub for relaxing. Linens and towels are provided for our guests.

The kitchenette contains a sink, a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a toaster oven. The comfortable living area has a table, chairs, and a pullout queen-size sofa so the cabin will sleep up to 4 guests.

There are gas and charcoal grills for your outdoor cooking and the small charcoal grill can easily be taken down to the beach for cooking hotdogs and smores by the water.

The path to the water front has a gentle slope with 2-3 steps making it easy for everyone to enjoy the beach area. The 366' of private beach is the perfect spot to launch your canoe or kayak for a paddle on Keweenaw Bay.

There is a screened-in gazebo on the sandy beach with lawn furniture and a picnic table.

Little Bear Cabin is conveniently located close to shopping, a laundromat, several restaurants, the Casino, the Historical Museum, and the Baraga Marina.

 Take a walk on the beach or some of the nearby hiking trails in the Huron Mountains, an exciting climb with some trails offering an awesome view of Keweenaw Bay and Lake Superior. There are several area waterfalls with directions available at the Tourism Bureau in L'Anse or you can sit by the marina and watch the boats. ATV and snowmobile trails are right by the cabin so you can ride from the door.

Winter Guests will find easy snowmobile trail access right from the cabin door for your ride on the hundreds of miles of groomed trails. The Pinery Lakes groomed cross-country ski trails in L'Anse offer 5 miles of trails in 3 loops for novice to expert skiers, and ice fishing is always fun and exciting.

2-6 days cancellation &endash; credit for future stays equal to your payment.
1-day notice payment is forfeited.

Popular dates cancellation &endash; payment is forfeited unless we can fill the room then we will refund your payment.
If you fail to arrive on the scheduled arrival date you will not receive any refund or credit. Popular weekends include the 4th of July and the weekend that falls near this date. Powwow weekend, which is the third weekend of July. New Years' Eve, Christmas week, Valentines Day, Labor Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend are also included in this definition.
