The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is a favorite with bird watchers and other wildlife lovers. The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is 95,455 acres of Marsh, Field and Forest with over 200 bird species, 26 fish species and 50 mammals. Seney offers a drive-through tour, biking tour and walking tour of the wildlife refuge.

Seul Choix Point marks a tiny harbor located on the north shore of Lake Michigan. This harbor was the last stop for refuge before coming to the Straits of Mackinac, some sixty miles to the west. The Lighthouse, Museum and Gift Shop are open from Memorial Day through mid-October, seven days a week, from 10 am to 6 pm. The tower is open for climbing and a wonderful view of Lake Michigan. The Gift Shop offers unique lighthouse inspired gifts, books, and nautical items.
