The Adventure Mining Company is operated by Matthew & Victoria Portfleet. Both are graduates of Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan (Mining Engineering & Surveying).

 

The Adventure Mining Company offers a variety of surface and underground tours of our historic Adventure Copper Mine in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The Adventure Mine is open from Late May through Mid-October
9 am to 6 pm daily, 11 am to 6 pm Sunday
Fall Hours: After Labor Day the Adventure Mine wil be open 6 days a week, closed on Wednesdays.
