Enjoy your vacation in these modern 2 bedroom cottages on the shore of Lake Superior in Silver City, MI. Only 1 mile east of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park and 13 miles west of Ontonagon in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Mountain View Lodges are the newest resort in the area and offer 11 two-bedroom cabins on the shores of Lake Superior, just 50' to 100' from the water. Each lodge offers all the comforts of home in a wilderness setting. One lodge is wheelchair accessible.

Our cabins offer fully equipped kitchens, wood burning fireplaces, screen porches, BBQ grills, Cable TV, phones, WIFI and DVD players. Gaze at the vibrant sunsets from the comfort of your cabin or while enjoying a toasty fire on the beach.

The modern kitchen has full sized appliances, microwave, toaster, a coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, and a large dining table.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom contains either a queen or two twin beds, depending on the cabin. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Linens are provided but please bring your beach towels.

Cabins have a deck and a screened-in porch facing the Lake with a table and chairs and a charcoal grill for a delicious cook-out. All cabins have a view of Lake Superior so you can sit on the comfortable porch and read, play cards or board games and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the wilderness and water.

Take a stroll just a few feet down to Lake Superior where you can sit on one of the swings or stretch out on the sand by the lake and listen to the waves as they roll up on the beach. Evenings are perfect for star gazing and lighting the campfire in the fire pit.

Mountain View Lodges are only 1 mile east of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park where you will find year round recreational opportunities. Enjoy hiking trails, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, downhill and cross country skiing, photography, wildflowers, rushing waterfalls, and brilliant fall color. Canoes kayak, mountain bike, snowmobile, and ATV rentals nearby.

Try your luck charter fishing on Lake Superior for salmon, whitefish, and trout or fish the nearby inland lakes and streams
