North Michigan Luxury Log Home Rental is located on south Manistique Lake in Curtis, MI, only 1 hour west of the Mackinac Bridge.

The North Michigan Log Home was custom built in 2007 and has three bedrooms with three bathrooms. An 800' tree lined drive leads to the private vacation home nestled in 2 acres of woods on the shores of South Manistique Lake.

The North Michigan Log Home has many outstanding amenities for enjoying your vacation.

The great room has comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace with wood provided, and a 42" wide screen direct satellite TV with DVD/VHS players. Central heat and air conditioning keep the home at an ideal temperature.

The dining room has a large pine table that will seat 8 and a snack bar with seats for 3. Enjoy the view of the lake from anywhere in the room

The well-appointed spacious kitchen has all you need for preparing meals including a refrigerator with an icemaker, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and a blender. The laundry area has a washer and dryer with a laundry tub, ample counter space, and a built in ironing board and iron.

The North Michigan Log Home has 3 spacious bedrooms, including two master bedrooms.
The master suite on the first floor has a queen-size bed, direct satellite TV with a DVD and VHS, and a private bathroom.   The master suite on the second floor is furnished with a king bed, a 32' flat screen TV with a DVD, a sofa sleeper, mini-refrigerator and a private bathroom. Enjoy the outstanding view of the lake from the sitting area outside the French doors.   The third bedroom has two single beds, direct satellite TV with a DVD and VHS and an additional TV with the wii game for some fun in the evenings. There is an inflatable double bed for extra guests.

If you need to keep in touch with home or office, there is a desk area overlooking the lake. The area contains a copier/printer/fax/scanner combination with a usb cord for your laptop with internet access.

The home has a wrap around porch where you can enjoy your morning beverage or fabulous sunsets. A Weber charcoal grill is available for your outdoor cooking.

The North Michigan Log Home overlooks South Manistique Lake where you will find year round fishing and fantastic summer fun. There is a gentle slope to the waterfront and the sand bottomed beach that extends 300 feet into the water for wading and swimming for the whole family. A 250' dock has lots of room for sitting, sunning, and just relaxing and enjoying the lake. There is a small deck by the waterfront with lawn furniture and a wood burning metal fireplace for evening campfires and enjoying the view.

The large lake is ideal for water skiing or wake boarding or a canoe and kayak are provided for paddling around the shoreline. Boats can be rented in Curtis.

Enjoy interesting attractions and fabulous outdoor recreation

Several interesting Upper Peninsula attractions are only a short drive from the home including the Seney Wildlife Refuge that you can tour by car, or you can rent a canoe or bike in Germfask. Visit the Seul Choix Lighthouse, (some say it is haunted), or golf on one of the area courses.

Fall brings fabulous colors and good hunting for deer, waterfowl, and small game on nearby state land.

The North Michigan Log Home has easy snowmobile trail access so head out and enjoy a day riding the groomed trails or bring your cross-country skis for a quiet peaceful glide through the woods.
