Paddlers Village is located by the shores of Lake Superior in Christmas, Michigan, 2 miles west of Munising, Grand Island, and the Pictured Rocks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Paddlers Village Modern Camping
Open May 1 through October 15

Launch your kayak at the beach and paddle on Lake Superior or take a kayak tour of the Pictured Rocks Shoreline.
Enjoy the amazing outdoor recreation the area has to offer.

Paddlers Village offers rentals of Camping Cabins, 16’ and 20’ Yurts, and Platform Tents for those who like comfortable modern camping by a sand beach. There is a new Community Building with restrooms, hot showers, and a dishwashing station for campers.

The Camping Cabins, Yurts, and Platform Tents have electricity, Wi-Fi, electric outlets and lighting, double bunks with mattresses (double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top), a fold out futon, a small refrigerator, a table and chairs, and a small deck on the front. Each site has a charcoal grill and a picnic table for your outdoor cooking and there is a fire pit for campfires by the beach.

 All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, gear, and cooking utensils.  Don’t have any camping equipment? Uncle Ducky Outdoors has cookware, sleeping bags, and other gear available for rent. Please let us know when you make your reservation and we will have everything ready for you.

Paddlers Village is by 1/3 mile of sandy Lake Superior beach, a perfect spot for relaxing and watching the stars or sitting around a campfire. Launch your canoe or kayak and head out to explore Grand Island or paddle along the shoreline and view the beautiful Pictured Rocks.  Bring your kayak or rentals are available at Paddlers Village.

20’ Yurt:  Sleeps up to 8 people with 2 double bunks and a fold- out futon for sleeping.
16’ Yurt: Sleeps up to 5 people with 1 double bunk and a foldout futon for sleeping.

12’ x 14’ cabins with a double bunk and a foldout futon that will sleep up to 5 people. .

PLATFORM TENTS: The platform tents are built on a wooden deck with a ridged center pole, sidewalls, and mosquito netting. Each cabin has a single and a double bunk, a futon and a deck with a settee or a rocking chair.
