Across from Lake Roland Food and lodging at the Parkview Lodge and Grill, 24 miles southwest of Houghton and 33 miles northeast of Ontonagon in the Twin Lakes and Toivola area in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Parkview Lodge, Grill, and Lounge offers 16 smoke-free rustic lodge rooms, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, and a sauna. Our full service restaurant is open daily serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the lounge offers your favorite beverages, food, and snacks and has 3 large screen TV's.
Relax and warm up after a busy day in front of the large fieldstone wood-burning fireplace in the lobby. You will also find an ice machine, microwave, and vending machines in the lobby. Parkview Lodge and Grill is located on the Bill Nicholls multi-use trail for biking, snowmobiling, and ATV'ing and is right across the road from Twin Lakes State Park on Lake Roland for swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking. Trails open for cross-country skiing during the winter months. PARKVIEW LODGE: Our lodge rooms open to the outside so you can park by your door and easily unload your gear, and they also have a door onto the interior hallway for easy access to our restaurant, lounge, and pool complex.

LOUNGE:
Our lounge features your favorite beverages including domestic tap and bottled beer, imported bottled beer, wine, mixed drinks, and soft drinks. We have tables for dining in the lounge where smoking is permitted. (no cigars or pipes please). Enjoy your favorite sporting event on our three big screen TV's or stop by for our daily Happy Hour. Our facilities can be reserved for pool parties, private gatherings, or a large group event. The Patio Room will seat up to 30-40, and we also have a small room off the pool for a business meeting or small gathering up to 10 guests. For a larger event, the lounge and restaurant will accommodate up to 140 people.
The Parkview Gift Shop offers T shirts, sweatshirts, and artwork of local artists including wooden bowls, candles and jewelry. The Twin Lakes area of the Upper Peninsula is an ideal spot to stop and spend a few days enjoying this beautiful area. Parkview Lodge is directly across the highway from Twin Lakes State Park on Lake Roland where you will find a nice 500' swimming beach, changing house, picnic tables, grills, and a playground for the children. Lake Roland is one of the warmer inland lakes in the Upper Peninsula and a great place to stop for a swim. The lake is large enough for water sports such as water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Fishermen can fish both Lake Roland and Lake Gerald for walleye, bass, crappie, and a variety of other fish. There is a 1.5 mile hiking trail for a walk in the woods or cross-country skiing during the winter.
If you are interested in the mining heritage of the area, be sure to tour the old Adventure Copper Mine in Greenland or Caledonia Mine in Rockland, both less than 20 miles south of the Lodge. The Ontonagon Lighthouse and Historical Museum in Ontonagon is also open for tours. You will find outstanding fall color along this stretch of highway M-26 so bring your camera Snowmobilers will find that snow in the Twin Lakes comes early, stays late, and there is lots of it, so start making your winter plans now. We have plenty of parking for your vehicles and trailers. The Bill Nichols Trail behind the lodge connects to trails that will take you up to Copper Harbor or over to the Porcupine Mountains State Park for some great riding.
