Resort Lodging Lakeview
Cottages
We have 8 Lakeview cottages that are located
just across from our office overlooking the Marina
and High Falls Flowage. The Lakeview cottages have
one, two, or 3 bedrooms and a kitchenette with full
size appliances, a microwave, toaster, and a coffee
maker. The living area has comfortable seating with
a TV and VCR player. There is a picnic area outside
the cottage with a table, grill, and a shared fire
pit. Most cottages have a screened-in porch for
relaxing, dining, or reading. We provide bed linens
but please bring your own towels. Our Lakeshore Cottages and Vacation Homes are right on
the waterfront with boat docking facilities. Lakeshore
Cottages We offer four Lakeshore Housekeeping Cottages
on the waterfront. The Lakeshore Cottages have from
one to four beds and a bathroom with a shower. Bed
linens are furnished, but please bring your own
towels. Fully equipped kitchenettes contain a
stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and an electric
coffee-maker. The living area has couches and a TV
with a VCR player. Cottages have automatic gas heat
to keep you toasty on cool evenings. There is a
grill, picnic area, and fire pit by the cottage.
Docking facilities in front of the cottage for your
boat or for relaxing by the dock and enjoying the
sunshine. Lakeshore
Vacation Homes (smoke free) We offer two deluxe Lakeshore Vacation Homes
overlooking the waterfront. Both are located in
front of the grass beach near the Marina with a
nice view of High Falls Flowage. Docking facilities
close by for your boat or you can rent one from the
Marina. Both vacation homes have fully equipped
kitchens including a stove, oven, refrigerator,
microwave, toaster, and a coffee-maker. The
vacation homes are air conditioned for your comfort
and have a Jacuzzi tub for relaxing after a busy
day. The living area has comfortable furnishings
with a gas fireplace and a TV with a VCR player.
One vacation home has 3 bedrooms and the other home
has 4 bedrooms. Bathroom with shower. Bed linens
are provided, but please bring your towels.
Upper Level
Motel Suites with 2 Bedrooms and Kitchenettes
The Motel Suites at Popp's Resort are located
right behind Rene's Supper Club and have two
separate bedrooms with a double bed in each room, a
kitchenette with stove, sink and under-counter
refrigerator unit, and la roomy living room. The
living room is roomy and comfortable and contains a
TV with a VCR player. These units are
air-conditioned and have a small portable grill and
a shared fire pit. Each unit has two bedrooms
with a double bed in each, and a futon in the
living room that can be opened to accommodate up to
6 people. The bathrooms have a shower. Bed linens,
towels, and soap are included. Rene's Supper
Club Rene's Supper Club and Lounge is across the
street from the office and serves dinner daily in
their spacious dining room. Enjoy our salad bar and
delicious homemade soups, sandwiches, or
mouth-watering steaks with your favorite
beverage. Serving
weekdays at 5 pm, Saturday & Sunday at 12
noon.
Popp's Marine, Bait
Shop, and Gas Dock
The Bait Shop features live bait, tackle,
clothing, Yamaha oils, and boating accessories,
licenses, flowage maps, food, snacks, and fish
freezing services. Snowmobile supplies. Recreation at Popp's Resort. Bring your boat and enjoy boating on High Falls Flowage with docking facilities available at our marina. High Falls Flowage is perfect for water-skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, or enjoying a sunset cruise around the shoreline. We offer boats rentals for a day relaxing on the water or fishing. Twin Bridges County Park is nearby with a swimming beach, picnic area, and a shower house. There is a hiking trail to a scenic rocky outlook on High Falls Flowage for a wonderful view. http://www.poppsresort.com/boatrentals.html Anglers can try their luck fishing for that trophy Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Musky, or a variety of panfish in High Falls Flowage or on some of the many lakes and streams near the resort. Enjoy a fresh fish dinner cooked on the grill by your cottage.
Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the roaring rapids of the Peshtigo River just north of Popp's Resort . . . especially exciting in the spring. Take a stroll on the trails on our property or hike to some of the interesting area locations. There are numerous area golf courses within a few miles of the resort that offer exciting play with beautiful scenery that golfers will enjoy. ATV riders can ride the Iron Snowshoe Trail from the door for great riding through the woods with over 190 miles of designated ATV trails. Hundreds of acres of public lands nearby for hunting deer and small game. Popp's Resort is located near some of the beautiful waterfalls of Marinette County. You might like to spend the afternoon visiting some of these falls or the local museums in Crivitz, Wausaukee, or Amberg. These towns offer shopping and interesting gift shops featuring local artists. Popp's Resort is located on the Iron Snowshoe Snowmobile trail so snowmobilers can ride right from the door on over 600 miles of groomed trails that lead west and north towards Forest and Florence Counties for great riding. Check our web site for information on the winter events and radar runs Cross country skiers will find three loops for a total of 13 scenic miles of groomed cross-country ski trails that are fun for skiers of all abilities. Anglers can get out and go ice fishing right in front of the resort and we have ice shanties available to rent. Winter brings several fishing derbies to the area . . . fun for the whole family.
