Located on the shore of the Autrain River near Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Rent your 17' Marathon aluminum canoes for trips canoeing down the Autrain River. Take a trip to the bridge (2.5 to 3 hours) for a delightful paddling adventure.

* By reservation or stop by for canoe rentals and we will get you all set up for a fun day on the water.

Although the two bridges are only about 1 miles apart by road, the Autrain River twists and turns enough to make it a nice long trip trip.

With the canoe trip, you will want to pack a lunch and stop for a picnic along the riverside.

An absence of rapids and portages creates quiet, relaxing, with-the-current canoeing.

Canoe rental by reservation or stop by for rentals.

All canoes come with lifejackets. Riverview Canoe Rental will pick you up at the north bridge.

Numerous sloughs along the watercourse harbor a variety of wildlife including ducks, songbirds, great blue herons, kingfishers, muskrats and turtles.

Three marvelous cabins are nestled in the woods on the bank of the Autrain River. The cabins are surrounded by tall pines, maples and birch with the river at the front.

The cabins are well separated for privacy and come with everything you need for your vacation.

The cabins have full kitchens including microwaves, comfortable furnishings, 19" color cable TVs, VCRs, gas grills, firepits, outdoor tables and chairs in front and a great view of the river. One of the cabins has a gas fireplace.

Cabins sleep up to 8 people. It is just a short walk down to the river.

There is plenty of parking area for boat trailers so bring your boat and have fun on AuTrain Lake or the AuTrain River.
