The sandy beach on Lake Superior is a wonderful spot to spend time enjoying the beauty of lake and listening to the waves lap up on the beach. Have lunch at the picnic table, sit around the beach fire, or enjoy the beauty of the starry night sky.

Scott's newly remodeled Superior Inn offers comfortable motel guest rooms; suites with one or two bedrooms, a sitting room, and a kitchenette; a three-bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen; and five rental cottages with 2 and 3 bedrooms, three are right on Lake Superior. Private Lake Superior sand beach for all guests to use.

Comfortable guest rooms and suites await you in the cozy Inn, just off Highway M-64 nestled in a grove of trees. Guest accommodations branch off each side of the lobby with new two-room suites in each wing as well as guest rooms with a queen bed or two full-sized beds. The new suites have been created from two guest rooms providing a comfortable sitting room with a couch, chair, TV, and a table with chairs. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, sink, toaster oven, and coffee maker with coffee, cream, & sugar provided for guests. All units are air conditioned for your comfort. Nightly rates with special discounts for longer stays. The Inn offers a non-smoking wing on one side of the lobby and smoking is permitted in the other wing.

The Inn has a knotty pine lobby featuring a large wood-burning fireplace with a comfortable sitting area around the fireplace for relaxing in front of the fire. Coffee is always available and there is a refrigerator and microwave for guest's use.

The recreation room in the lower level has a fireplace, pool table, foosball, and other games.

Three Bedroom Apartment

The 3 bedroom suite on the lower level has 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. This suite has a private entrance and opens directly out towards the path to the beach with parking by the door.

 

Rental Cabins: Scott's offers five rental cabins with two and three bedrooms. All cabins have cable TV, full kitchens, grills, lawn furniture, and have a walk-out deck. Three cabins are on Lake Superior and all have use of the private sandy beach.

Whitetail and Bear Cabins are the newest cabins located by the beach with a great view of Lake Superior. Both cabins have a knotty pine interior, vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace, and a full kitchen with one bedroom downstairs and the other in an open loft upstairs. Just a few steps to the sand beach or you can watch the sunset from the deck. Both cottages will sleep up to 8 guests.

We offer three additional cabins with our Log Home right on the beach and the other cabins only a short walk. These cabins have a TV, deck, lawn furniture, and are on the snowmobile trail.

Scott's Log Home on Lake Superior has 300 ' of private Lake Superior sand beach, stone wood-burning fireplace, and a full kitchen with one bedroom downstairs and an upstairs loft. Sleeps up to 8 guests.

New Deluxe 2 bedroom cabin is located just off the beach. Full kitchen, phone, and a large fireplace. This cabin is handicapped accessible.

The Deluxe three bedroom cabin has a full kitchen with an attached garage and sleeps up to 8 guests.

Guide Service:
Don offers guided fishing trips for big pike and other varieties of fish in the nearby inland lakes and guided deer and bear hunts for bow and rifle season. Click here for more information or call 906-884-4866.

Enjoy your stay at Scott's Superior Inn and Cabins while you explore Ontonagon County and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. This is a beautiful area with wonderful year round outdoor recreation. The Porkies offer hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, downhill and cross-country skiing as well as outstanding scenery. Summer travelers might like to stop at the Visitor Center in the park and enjoy the interesting exhibits, interactive displays, and check out the nature programs being presented.

Explore Bonanza Falls, also called Greenwood Falls, pictured on the right or the several area waterfalls. Visit the museums, explore the Ontonagon Lighthouse, or wander through the area gift shops. Fall color is especially brilliant and offers photographers outstanding photo opportunities and Lake Superior is always a great spot for pictures.

Scott's Superior Inn is right on the snowmobile trail so you can ride from the door of the Inn or one of our cabins.
