A Serene Vacation Cabin on beautiful
South Manistique Lake Open Year Round This comfortable smoke-free cabin on South Manistique Lake has three bedrooms, a living area overlooking the lake, a full kitchen, and a deck with outdoor seating. A gently sloping lawn leads to the lake where you will find a dock and a nice sitting area for reading and soaking up a little sun while you enjoy the clean fresh air. The beach is fine for wading or you can float on your water toys. 16' Lund boat with a motor in included in the rental for boating and fishing or there is a boat launch nearby if you want to bring your boat for water skiing and wake boarding and viewing the awesome sunrises and the brilliant night sky. A Serene Vacation Cabin has three bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. Two bedrooms are on the upper level with a full-size bed in each bedroom. The bedroom on the main level has a full-size bed and a twin-size bed. Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your paper products. The kitchen has full sized appliances, a toaster, microwave, and a coffee maker. Living area has a TV with an antenna and VCR & DVD players.
A Serene Vacation Cabin is located close to the village of Curtis where you will find shopping and restaurants and centrally located for enjoying the outdoors and visiting some of the nearby attractions. Summer Fun: Enjoy boating, water sports, swimming, or fishing on South Manistique Lake, go hiking or biking on the trails or back roads, or golf at nearby Blue Heron Golf Course. This is a wonderful spot to enjoy the woods, waters, and wildlife. Curtis is also located near a network of rivers and trout streams for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The 95,000 acre Seney Wildlife Refuge is just west of the cabin where you will find hiking & biking trails, the 7 mile Woodland Marshland Drive, or you can rent a canoe or kayak at the Big Cedar Campground and paddle through the refuge. The Visitor Center offers guided hikes and is filled with interesting exhibits. Don't forget your camera as you never know what wildlife you might see. During the fall, come for our stunning fall color season. Hunt for small game, bear, waterfowl and deer. Winter lovers enjoy the groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. You can also go ice fishing for Walleye in December and Northern Pike and Perch in February. Nearby Attractions Going west you can visit Big Springs (Kitch-iti-kipi), Michigan's largest spring, known to the Indians as the mirror of heaven and the Seul Choix Lighthouse, Park and Museum, known locally as "the haunted lighthouse".
