Lodging at SnowShoe Inn Vacation Rental on Sixteen Mile Lake in the Hiawatha National Forest, about 12 miles southwest of Munising, MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The SnowShoe Inn Vacation Suite has 3 bedrooms and is on the lower level of this home overlooking 16 Mile Lake. The suite is smoke free and has a living area with a gas fireplace, satellite TV and DVD. The complete kitchen has full-sized appliances, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, and pots and pans.

The three bedrooms contain 3 queen-sized beds and 3 double beds with linens, blankets, and towels provided.

There is a large bathroom with a tub/shower combination and two sinks.

Snowshoe Inn is a wonderful place to spend your vacation any time of the year.

16-Mile Lake is a large lake that offers good fishing, canoeing, and is large enough for water skiing and tubing. There is a dock by the water for fishing, sunning, or relaxing in your lawn chair. Sandy beach for wading and swimming that is great for the kids, so bring some water toys and get ready for some fun by the lake. We provide a 12' boat with a 5 hp motor, adult life-jackets, fishing poles, and a paddle-boat for riding around the shoreline and enjoying the woods and water. A 14' pontoon boat is available for rental.

SnowShoe Inn Vacation Suite is only a few miles from Munising where you can enjoy hiking in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore or on Grand Island, visit the several area waterfalls, go on one of the cruises. Try scuba diving or snorkeling, stop by the casino in Christmas, or go charter fishing on Lake Superior. Enjoy what the Munising area has to offer and then return to the SnowShoe Inn where you can sit by the lake or cook up some burgers and hot dogs on the gas grill. Later in the evening, throw some wood on the fire pit and sit around your campfire and roast marshmallows.

The SnowShoe Inn vacation rental is right in the Hiawatha National Forest so you will find several other fishing lakes in the area and public lands for hunting, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, off-roading, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Snowmobile and ATV trail access right from the yard.

Winter brings lots of snow to the area and the SnowShoe Inn Vacation Suite is on the snowmobile trail that offers miles of riding fun. Cross-country skiers will enjoy the 25 miles of groomed trails at Valley Spur, only a few miles away or you can go snowshoeing in the woods around the house. Both Wilderness Trail Outfitters or Triple Creek Kennels are located nearby and offer dog sled rides through the forest.
