Camping at Summer Breeze Campground, 4 miles north of Iron Mountain, MI in Dickinson County in the Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Wireless and dial-up internet access Open May 1st through October 15th Summer Breeze Campground offers 70 nice shady campsites with a picnic table and fire ring for your campfires. There are full hook-ups sites as well as sites with electric & water hook-ups, and an open field area for tent campers. Many pull-through campsites with enough room for the largest RV's or trailers. Dump station. Tenters will love our open field where there is plenty of room for your tents and vehicles. Water is available at a faucet on the main building or at various locations throughout the campground.
Summer Breeze Campground offers a heated swimming pool, playground for the kids, volleyball, basketball, tetherball and a horseshoe court. Our camp store has ice and wood for your campfire as well as a few groceries, beverages, and snacks. We also carry soaps and candles made right here at the campground. Cook up some s'mores over your campfire for a tasty evening treat for kids of all ages.
Restrooms are clean with free hot showers and the laundry room contains a phone and free wireless internet access as well as dial-up access. These are open 24 hours a day for your convenience.
POOL: Visitors: $4.00 per person/per day GROUP RATES: Children under 2 years old are free Additional tent on site = $18.00 per night Good Sam: 10% Discount VISITOR CHARGE: On Holidays and holiday weekends, visitors will be charged $2.00 for day use. Pool use will be an additional $4.00 For parties where more than 5 visitors per site will be attending, there will be a $2.00 per person charge. Visa and MasterCard accepted Pets welcome but must be on a leash and under your control at all times. Enjoy Iron Mountain and Dickinson County while you are camping at Summer Breeze. Lots of nearby lakes for fishing, boating, waterskiing, and swimming and several area golf courses including the 5 Star Timberstone Golf Course nearby. Enjoy hiking or biking at the Fumee Lake Natural Area or take your ATV out on some of the trails. Visit Fumee Falls or go canoeing or kayaking on the Menominee River, the Pine River, or the Brule River. Canoes can be rented nearby at Northwoods Wilderness Outfitters for a fun paddle or great day fishing. Watch the free Badwater Ski-Ters Water Ski Show or play mini-golf and ride go-carts at the Bears Den. The daring might try Piers Gorge for some whitewater rafting. Summer Breeze Campground is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants & supper clubs, shopping, museums, and an iron mine that is open for tours.
