Sunset Pines Resort is located on South Manistique Lake, four miles south of Curtis, Michigan in the beautiful, clean and clear Upper Peninsula. We feature cozy, clean, comfortable cabins in a secluded and quiet woodland lakeside setting.

Each cabin has a wood burning fireplace and our completely furnished kitchens are equipped with full size refrigerators with separate freezers, new stoves with ovens, electric coffee makers, toasters, dishes, pots, pans, etc.

Cabins have wall to wall carpeting in the living rooms and bedrooms, are attractively and comfortably furnished with all new Posturepedic beds, shower massage in the showers and electric heat or gas furnaces in each cabin.There are color televisions in all units. Extremely clean and neat. Please bring your own towels, paper products, firewood and life jackets.

Each cabin has a charcoal bar-b-que grill, picnic table and a deep and wide safety inspected boat included in the rental fee.

We have large well-kept grounds. There is a safe sandy beach play area, screened fish house with running water, coin laundry and we furnish equipment for outdoor shuffleboard, badminton, horseshoes and volleyball. We have a little tykes playground and a larger children's playground, community fire pit, extra freezer space for fish. There is a large parking area for trailers.

We border acres of virgin land, perfect for the nature lover. Spend your vacation in clean, quiet comfort. The cabins face west, providing us with the most breathtaking sunsets. Perfect for honeymooners of all ages!!

Great fishing for whitefish, walleye, pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, muskie, perch, sunfish, bluegill, rock bass, and bullheads. Great hunting for ducks, geese, rabbits, bears, deer, grouse, and partridge. Many trout streams are nearby. Come in the spring for mushroom hunting and smelt fishing in nearby Lake Michigan. Then after a great day in the outdoors, relax in comfort with your feet up in front of the fire.
