Accommodations
The Sunset Bay Vacation Compound consists of Shamrock Lodge, 2 guest cottages (Kinsale and Leprechaun), and the Carriage House offering your group privacy, yet you are all together for activities. The lodgings have 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms combined, and will accommodate up to 24 guests. Towels and bed linens are provided for our guests. Sunrise Bay offers a computer for guests to use, wireless internet access, and a video library. Enjoy your cook-outs on the charcoal grill.

Shamrock Lodge
The main lodge will be the center of many of your activities. The lodge is comfortably furnished with an enclosed sunroom for relaxing. The living room has a gas fireplace for an occasional cool night. There is a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, laundry area with a washer & dryer, and ample seating in the large dining area. There are 3 bedrooms with a futon in the TV room. A computer with broadband internet is available for guests to use and wireless access is available.

Leprechaun Guest House #1
This Dutch Colonial style cottage has comfortable furniture, a wood-burning fireplace, and patio doors that open onto a deck overlooking the lake. The Leprechaun Guest House has one bedroom and a loft with one queen and 2 twin beds.

Kinsale Guest House #2
This comfortable Dutch Colonial style guest house is nestled by the edge of the woods. There is a large living area with a wood-burning stove, a sunroom overlooking the spacious grounds, and a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with 4 twin beds. All have ensuite bathrooms.

The Shillelagh Carriage House
This cozy lodging has a lovely wood interior, a comfortable living area, complete kitchen and one bedroom with a queen bed. There is a fold out bed so the carriage house will accommodate up to 4 guests.

Summer Fun at Sunrise Bay
The village of Christmas is located 3 miles east of Munising on Highway M-28 and 40 miles east of Marquette. The village offers gift shops with a Christmas theme, restaurants, and a casino. Munising is only 3 miles east of Sunrise Bay for dining and shopping.
Enjoy outstanding scenery for photographers, birdwatchers, and waterfall lovers with outdoor recreation for all ages. A variety of scenic hiking trails await you at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Grand Island, or you can tour the Island by bus enjoying the forest and the wildlife.
Visit cascading waterfalls or take one of the cruises on Munising Bay and Lake Superior where you get an amazing view of the Pictured Rocks or view old sunken ships from the glass bottomed boat. Scuba divers might enjoy exploring some of these sunken ships in the Alger Underwater Preserve. Kayak and canoe rentals available for use at the cottages or you can paddle down the AuTrain River, about 5 miles west of Sunrise Bay. Guests might enjoy fishing AuTrain Lake, the AuTrain River, or charter fishing is lots of fun on Lake Superior. There is a golf course in Munising or there are several courses in nearby Marquette.
