The Sunset and the Bayview Vacation Homes are located right by the motel and have use of our waterfront. Cottages are complete with central air conditioning; full kitchen; washer & dryer; DVD; VCR; expanded cable TV, free wireless internet service; sleeper sofa; and complementary games & videos. All linens and towels are supplied. We have a large parking lot for trailers. Both cottages sleep 8 guests comfortably.

Sunset Motel on the Bay and the Vacation Cottages are located on the Hiawatha Water Trail at the beginning of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, we are a short distance from many waterfalls, hiking trails, bike trails, and boat cruises. Historical sites, restaurants, snowmobile trails, and cross country ski trails are all within a couple miles, and ice fishing is right outside your front door. Munising Bay is an Underwater Preserve with many shipwrecks for the recreational diver to explore. Hire a scuba diving charter or take the Glass Bottom Shipwreck Tour to see these incredible sights. In the middle of Munising Bay is Grand Island, a National Recreational Area, offering hiking, biking, boating, and camping.
The Hiawatha National Forest is just south of Munising with many inland lakes to explore. A must do is the Pictured Rocks Boat Tours that take a cruise along the incredible sandstone rock formation with sights that will take your breath away.
