The Superior River Cabin is a three bedroom year round rental cabin on the shores of the AuTrain River, 10 miles southwest of Munising and the Pictured Rocks in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The cabin has satellite TV and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. The complete kitchen has full-sized appliances, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. There are tree bedrooms located on the upper level with a queen-size bed in one bedroom and a full-size bed and a twin bed in the other two bedrooms. The Superior River Cabin has 1 and 1/2 bathrooms.

The fire pit is surrounded by bricks and benches for sitting and enjoying the view of the woods and water. There is a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking and a nice sitting area by the dock.

Superior River Cabin provides two single kayaks and a canoe with flotation devices for our guests to use on the Au Train River. Enjoy a quiet paddle down this lovely peaceful river as it winds throughout the Hiawatha National Forest. You can paddle to the next bridge or take a longer trip all the way to the river mouth at the Lake Superior sandy beach. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a wonderful day on the water.

The Superior River Cabin is conveniently located near all the wonderful outdoor recreation offered in the area. Enjoy the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, beautiful waterfalls, hiking and biking trails, birding, and photography. This is an amazing area filled with the beauty of the woods and waters.

The nice sandy beach on Lake Superior is just a short distance from the cabin and there is a casino in Christmas. Golfers will enjoy the golf course in Munising.

There is a two car garage available for guests to use.

Winter brings lots of snow for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. Take a dog sled ride or the adventurous might try ice climbing in the Pictured Rocks.

The Superior River Cabin is on the snowmobile and ATV trails for miles of riding through the forests.

Winter Rates: (November through March)
$600.00 for a 3-night stay. Each additional night, $200.00
$1,000.00 first 6-nights. Each additional night, $150.00

Peak Summer Rates: (June 1 through Labor Day Weekend)
$600.00 for a 3-night stay. Each additional night, $200.00
$1,000.00 for a 6-night stay. Each additional night, $150.00

Off-Season Rates: (April through May) and (Day after Labor Day through October)
$500.00 for a 3-night stay. Each additional night, $150.00
$900.00 first 6-nights. Each additional night, $150.00

Rates are for 6 adults or less. Each additional person is $25 per person per night

Cancellation / Deposit Refund Policy
Sorry, Deposit is non-refundable unless week can be re-rented. Your deposit can be used to book another week.
There are No Refunds after you check in.
