We invite you to rest and relax in one of our exceptionally clean rooms with at-door parking and a large lot for parking trucks and trailers. The Terrace Motel is located in a quiet neighborhood two blocks south of busy M-28. Open year round, we offer singles, doubles, two bedroom units, and family units for up to seven people. All rooms have extended cable televisions and individual guest controlled heat. Complimentary ice and coffee are available. Our guests are welcome to use the recreation room with full kitchen, pool table, air hockey, sauna, and a heated repair area. Family Unit The Terrace Motel is located in the heart of Munising, set on a hillside, close to restaurants, shopping, gas, taverns, boat tours, and Lake Superior. The Munising and Alger County area is an outdoor recreational paradise. With thousands of acres of state and federal land, the uses are unlimited. There are over 250 inland lakes and miles of streams, along with Lake Superior, for the water enthusiasts.
Area attractions include the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Hiawatha National Forest, Lake Superior State Forest, Grand Island Recreational Area, and the Alger Underwater Preserve. Munising is the "Snowmobile Capital of the World" and trail #419 starts in our parking lot. With over 250 miles of marked and groomed trails, you can travel some of the best scenery nature has to offer. Alger County has an average of over 230 inches of snowfall annually.
