Overlooking Beautiful Hovey Lake less than 10 miles from Munising, MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Hiawatha National Forest has now opened trails for 4-wheeling and ATVing as well as trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

Timber Ridge Motel Suites and Lodge is located in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest. All motel units are suites with individual decks overlooking Hovey Lake. The lodge is located on the shore of Hovey Lake.

All our suites have 1 queen size bed and a queen size sofa sleeper in living area (extra cots available). All suites also include color tv, refrigerators, toasters, microwaves and coffeemakers. All linens provided.

Our Lodge, located on the shore of Hovey Lake, has 4 bedrooms with queen size and double beds, two baths, fireplace, color TV and full kitchen facilities. All linens provided.

The Timber Ridge Motel Suites and Lodge also has a sauna, recreation room with pool table, free boat usage, ample parking for boat and snowmobile trailers and an indoor heated repair area.

If you don't feel like cooking, the Buckhorn Restaurant and Bar is only a quarter of a mile away, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and all your favorite drinks.

After a most spectacular color season draws to an end, the snow starts falling and by Mid timber ridge lodging in the upper peninsulaDecember over 300 miles of well marked, groomed snowmobile trails and deep powder meadows greet you each day. Built with the snowmobiler in mind, we are located on the trails. Snowmobile rental nearby.

If cross country skiing is on your mind, we're only minutes away from one of the best cross country ski trails in the Great Lakes Region. After a full day enjoying the brisk outdoors you can warm up in our sauna and rest up in our cozy motel suites or lodge.

When summer arrives just trade your snowmobile suit for a swimsuit and enjoy waterskiing, boating, fishing or scuba diving. Golfing, canoeing or hiking on marked trails could round out your day as you enjoy some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world. The beautiful Pictured Rocks - Miners Castle and numerous waterfalls are only minutes away or just relax and enjoy the million dollar view from your own private deck.
