Salmon, Steelhead or fish Little Bay de Noc for Walleye. Try
our guided fishing trips to wilderness inland lakes and
streams for a variety of fish common
to the far north and cooler waters. We offer day, half-day,
or multi day packages. All fishing equipment is supplied by
Uncle Ducky Charters.
SPORTFISHING
Our 1-5 day fishing packages combine the best of all fishing
worlds. You will jig for giant native Lake Trout at Stannard
Rock, troll for Salmon and Steelhead around the beautiful
Huron Islands, fish an inland lake for Walleye, Northern
Pike and Smallmouth Bass, and take a wilderness adventure
for the beautiful and illusive Brook Trout. or create your
own trip. The reef around Stannard Rock Lighthouse is loaded
with native Mackinaw Lake Trout that often exceed 30 pounds,
Fishing is done on light tackle by jigging, casting and
trolling, and even, at times, fly fishing.
Most of the inland waters are not accessible to larger
boats and must be fished by canoe or jon-boat, or by stream,
Our guides know these areas and will get you to the most
productive lakes in the region. These areas are the home to
many species of fish and wildlife. Brook Trout, Rainbow
Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye, and
Pan Fish all are common, as are Loons, Eagles, Beaver, Deer,
Moose, and even an occasional Timber Wolf. Guided fly
fishing trips.

40 nautical miles north of Marquette and 26 nautical miles
southeast of the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michiganís
Upper Peninsula, Stannard Rock is one of the most remote
lighthouses in the world. This reef is an underwater
mountain range of approximately 1 x 5 miles of pinnacles
that almost reach to the surface surrounded by depths of
over 600 feet. The light was continuously manned until 1961
when it was automated. The light is 102 feet above lake
level to ward mariners of this mountain ridge. The Stannard
