Uncle Ducky Outfitters offers exciting guided fly-fishing trips in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Float or wade one of the secluded streams, drop that fly in the little pool by the old log, and the excitement begins. A wide variety of rivers, lakes, and streams await you in the Upper Peninsula or you might like to fish Lake Superior and Bay de Noc for Lake Trout or Salmon for the ultimate fishing experience. We offer one day trips or trips of several days. Packages including lodging are available.

Our guides are experienced fly fishermen and they will take you where the fish are biting and provide all the equipment, waders, and a selection of flies needed for a wonderful fishing trip. We will also clean and package any fish that you would like to keep.

Our guided trips include wading along the riverbanks or we offer float trips in a canoe, kayak, or drift boat as we fly-fish for a wide variety of fish in the cool crisp waters of the Upper Peninsula. We fish for Steelhead, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbows, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and Pink Salmon as well as Northern Pike, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, and Bluegills.

 

Most of our trips are scheduled for lakes and streams in the central Upper Peninsula, but we have guided trips in the Eastern U.P. on the Fox River, a blue-ribbon trout stream, the Two-Hearted River, or perhaps the St. Mary's River near the Soo for Atlantic Salmon, Steelhead, and Chinook. We also offer fishing trips for Smallmouth on Little Bay de Noc near Escanaba, Northern Pike and Smallmouth on Lake Michigamme, and Lakers near Stannard Rock in Lake Superior.

 

For a truly wilderness experience we offer a fishing adventure at Craig Lake State Park in the wilderness west of Marquette where you will find rustic camping sites for several days fishing. Call for information.

Always wanted to learn the art of fly-fishing, or you haven't had a chance to get out fishing for a while? Our experienced guides offer instruction for all ages and abilities on a nearby lake where there is plenty of room to perfect your cast. We spend one day on Strawberry Lake near Marquette and then practice on the Carp River where we will fish for steelhead from Lake Superior on the spawning grounds.

Along with our fly fishing trips, we offer Charter Fishing trips on Lake Superior and Little Bay de Noc, Boat and Pontoon Rentals, Canoe and Kayak Rentals, and we can outfit you for your fishing trip if you would like to try fishing and didn't bring your gear.
