North Shore Lodge is located next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Headquarters in the old Coast Guard Station, 2 museums, and the famous Grand Marais pier. Vist the Agate Museum, the historic Pickle Barrel house, or some of the unique shops in Grand Marais. Enjoy a stroll on the Lake Superior beach and enjoy the fabulous view of Lake Superior.

The North Shore Lodge also has 8 housekeeping cabins with one or two beds. The cabins are comfortable and have new furniture and flooring and a fully equipped kitchen, including a microwave and coffee maker. Linens and paper products are furnished for our guests. The Cabins are located on Grand Marais Bay (harbor). There is a Laundromat available, picnic tables, and a childrens play area.

When you visit Grand Marais, North Shore Lodge on Coast Guard Point offers motel rooms on Lake Superior and cabins on Grand Marais Bay, directly across the road from the Lodge. Enjoy 200' of private beach on Lake Superior and the view of Grand Marais Bay. A peaceful spot to relax on the beach or enjoy the awesome night sky.

Restaurant at North Shore Lodge Our Restaurant, Lounge and Gift Shop are open from June 1st through October 20th.
The North Shore Lodge Restaurant serves lunch and dinner and offers indoor dining or outdoor dining on the patio. Start your day with a delicious breakfast and for dinner, select from our full menu of delicious seafood, steaks, and chicken just to name a few. Our new menu includes a "Sweet Bar" that has assorted candies and Jilberts Hand-Dipped Ice Cream. Relax and enjoy your favorite cocktail while visiting with friends and relatives in a friendly atmosphere.
North Shore Lodge Gift Shop
The North Shore Gift Shop has a large variety of items from the area -books, tee shirts and sweats, beach toys and many other items. Check out our collection of books about the Grand Marais area and Lake Superior.

Grand Marais is at the eastern entrance to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Visit Log Slide, Sable Falls, or try some of the hiking trails within the Lakeshore. Biking trails and ATV trails nearby for some great riding through the forests.

SNOWMOBILE TRAILS START AT THE DOOR

North Shore Lodge is on the trail so you can snowmobile from your door and head out to hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Shopping and gas nearby. Cross Country Skiers will enjoy the groomed ski trails at Grand Marais and in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
