The Boulder Bear Motor Lodge offers 20 comfortable double guest rooms with 2-queen beds, phones, cable TV, refrigerators, and free Wi-Fi. Handicap rooms, connecting rooms, and a king room with a whirlpool tub are available. We serve a complimentary continental breakfast daily for our guests. The rooms that are in the rear of the motel overlook the woods and our deer feeding station where deer come to visit year round.

We have a deck and a patio for relaxing after a busy day enjoying the area. Our comfortable lobby with a gas fireplace is a great spot for our guests to sit when they don’t wish to sit outdoors. Read a book, magazine, or sit around and plan your next day's adventures.

The Boulder Bear Rental Cabin is located only a few blocks from the motor lodge and  has 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in one room and the other room with two twin beds. There is a queen futon in the sleeping loft for extra guests. The living room has comfortable furniture and a complete kitchen. Bed linens and towels are supplied. The cabin is on the snowmobile trail and only 1 block from the bike trail.

The Boulder Bear Motor Lodge rates start at  $85 per night with the Whirlpool Suite slightly higher. 2-night minimum stay during peak season and on weekends

The cabin can be rented nightly with a 3-night minimum stay. Weekly discounts are available.
We offer reduced rates for the motel and cabin during off-peak dates: March 14 to June2. Oct 1 to Dec 9


Boulder Junction is located amid the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest offering outstanding outdoor recreation for the entire family any time of the year. There are over 47 miles of paved bike paths so you can safely ride through the countryside. 190 nearby lakes offer swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, as well as ice fishing and 9 area golf courses will be fun for golfers. There are exciting adventure motorcycle trails with maps available at the Chamber of Commerce office .

The exciting Community Park is located across the street and offers something for everyone including tennis courts, playground equipment, a skateboard park, plus much more. baseball diamond, and a basketball court.

The Boulder Bear Motor Lodge and cabin have easy access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails for an exciting ride through the forest.

The wonderful Boulder Junction Winter Park is only a few blocks and offers a regulation size ice skating rink, a sledding hill, 1 mile of cross country ski trails, and warming shelter.

Lots of fun for winter lovers.

Kayak, paddleboard, bike, cross-country ski and snowmobile rentals are nearby for those who would like to explore the area.
